Nourishing Little Minds approached us with a heartfelt goal: to create a Ramadan journal that helps children aged 8 and above understand the beauty of Ramadan in a way that feels joyful, meaningful, and age-appropriate. The focus was not just on learning about Ramadan, but on helping children live it—with intention, reflection, and small spiritual habits they could truly connect with.
The Challenge
Ramadan can feel overwhelming or abstract for children if presented only through rules and routines. The client wanted a product that would gently guide young minds toward the spiritual essence of Ramadan—fasting, prayer, gratitude, kindness, and self-reflection—without making it feel heavy or forced.
Our Approach
We designed the journal as a friendly companion for Ramadan. The content was kept light, simple, and interactive, encouraging children to plan their days, reflect on their feelings, set small goals, and celebrate their efforts. To make the experience more engaging, the visual theme was inspired by Aladdin and traditional Arab culture.
The outcome
The final Ramadan journal became more than just a workbook. It turned into a safe, creative space where children could explore their relationship with Allah, understand the spirit of Ramadan, and build positive habits—one page at a time. The playful theme helped remove pressure, while the thoughtful structure ensured the spiritual message remained strong and clear.
